Privacy policy

Last updated 12 October 2026

This explains what Lexiform knows about you, why, who else handles it, and what you can ask us to do. We follow Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).

1. What we collect

  • Your account: your username, a protected (hashed) form of your password, and, if you give them, your phone number, the name your contracts show, and a saved signature.
  • Your contracts: the details you type in (names, addresses, amounts, dates), the finished contract, and the other person's phone number or email if you send it to them.
  • Signatures and signing records: the drawn signature, the name typed when signing, the date and time, the internet address and type of device used, and whether a code sent to the signer's phone was confirmed.
  • The waitlist: your name, phone number, email if you give it, what you would use Lexiform for, and which link brought you here.
  • Questions to our assistant: what you ask, and the contract it is about, so it can answer.
  • Security records: signs of misuse, such as many failed logins or texts sent to many numbers.

We do not use advertising trackers. Your login is kept in your own browser so you stay signed in.

2. Why we use it

  • To make, sign, send and store your contracts.
  • To show who signed what, and when, if the contract is ever questioned.
  • To send texts you have asked for: signing links, one-time codes and reminders, and news about Lexiform if you joined the waitlist.
  • To answer your questions and improve the service.
  • To keep the service safe and stop misuse.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use the contents of your contracts for advertising.

3. Who else handles it

The other person on a contract sees that contract, including your name and signature on it. Beyond that, we share information only with companies that help us run Lexiform, and only as far as they need it:

  • SasuSync sends our text messages. It receives the phone number and the words of each text.
  • Our assistant's AI provider receives your question and the relevant contract text in order to answer.
  • Hosting and database providers (Render, Vercel and Neon) store and serve the service.
  • Paystack will handle payments when paid features exist. We never receive your card or mobile money details.

Some of these companies store information outside Ghana. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

4. How long we keep it

  • Your account and contracts: for as long as you have an account.
  • Signed contracts and their signing records: kept after signing, because both people rely on them as proof.
  • One-time codes: stored in protected form for about ten minutes.
  • Waitlist details: until Lexiform opens and you have been invited, or until you ask us to remove them.

5. How we protect it

Connections to Lexiform are encrypted, passwords and codes are stored in protected form, signing links expire, and sending is limited to stop misuse. No online service can promise perfect security; if something goes wrong that affects you, we will tell you.

6. Your choices

You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop texting you. Write to lexiform.inc@gmail.com from the phone number or email on your account and we will reply within 30 days. Where a signed contract involves another person, we may need to keep the signed copy and its record.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to Ghana's Data Protection Commission.

7. Children

Lexiform is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

8. Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will say so on the site or by text before it takes effect.
